Review: Alidi Foods & Drinks

Aldi
Reviews

The only time i shopped at Aldi was when i was a little younger and was still living at home, since then i moved into my own place and i have no local Aldi.
The lovely people from Aldi sent me and my children a lovely hamper of there products to try and since then i now pop into Aldi when on my way to visit my mom at least once a week.

I was sent a lovely hamper with a selection Aldi brand products here is what we was sent and what we tought :

Diplomat Red Label Original Round Tea Bags

These Red Label tea bags are a special blend of fine teas from some of the world’s best tea plantations, producing a rich, full flavoured and delicious cup of tea.
Tea is a natural source of beneficial antioxidants, which can form an important part of a healthy diet.
These tea bags were recommended by the Daily Mirror and featured in our popular ‘Tea or Gin?’ advert.
This pack contains four individual foil wrapped packs of 160 tea bags to ensure  your tea bags stay fresh.
I love my tea and round Aldi Red Label tea bags to taste just like any name brand tea bags i have ever tasted, They are packed with flavour.
Ive noticed some tea bag brand i have used take a while to brew unlike Red Label tea bags, as i poured the water over the tea bag i didn't have to stir its as much as i normally it was in with the milk and out with the tea bag.

 Moser Roth Chocolate

Milk Chocolate & Milk Chocolate Caramel

Moser Roth ( Milk Chocolate Caramel ) is a delicious treat for connoisseurs of sophisticated gourmet chocolate. This chocolate is made with the finest quality ingredients, carefully prepared according to a classic recipe.
The combination of smooth milk chocolate and the crunchy texture of small pieces of caramel create an unforgettable eating experience.
Each pack contains five individually wrapped bars.

Moser Roth (Milk Chocolate) chocolate lovers will enjoy the creamy taste combined with the subtle flavours of selected cocoa.

I really like Moser Roth chocolate it is so delicious and creamy, my favourite is the Milk chocolate with caramel pieces which added extra texture and flavour to the chocolate.
The Moser Roth Chocolate range has been recommended by BBC Good Food.

Passions Hand cooked Potato chips
(Sea Salt and Crushed Black Pepper)

Passions Hand cooked Crisps were awarded Gold at the Great Taste Awards 2011.
Passion hand cooked potato crisps are hand cooked only in sunflower oil, with no Artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
They use the very best potatoes choosing a wonderful varieties and sourcing them exclusively from Irish farms. Each one is sliced and gently hand cooked in a converted castle in the lush green Irish countryside.

I was sent Sea salt and crushed black pepper to try but I'm not a big fan of pepper as I find it a bit spicy on my tongue, but I had a taste any way.
The texture and quality of the potato crisps was great and full of flavour, as i said before there not the type of flavour i would normally pick but alot of people may like pepper. I will be trying a few of there other flavours, I will let you know how yummy they are.

Del Rivo Orange Juice

Del Rivo Orange Juice came out on top against the brand leader Tropicana and juices from Innocent, Marks and Spencer and Lidl. Which? magazine said: “This was the top-scoring juice overall, with many tasters commenting that it tasted just like a fresh orange. They loved the flavour and texture and thought it had just the right amount of sweetness.”

Del Rivo Orange Juice is delicious and smooth  and has not bits, its so sweet and refreshing perfect for those early mornings or even after dinner.
I found it was no different to any other name brands i have ever tasted.

I am now starting to buy more from Aldi stores on a weekly basis, as the quality of there products are excellent and a good value for money.

Why not like there facebook page where you can read more about the excellent products
